Volunteers at the Back to School Fair Print E-mail

Annual fair held for low-income families throughout DuPage County. SCARCE distributed over 11,000 books, 100 backpacks and 8 boxes of school supplies for FREE directly to the kids. Thanks to Wheaton Rotary, UPS, Carol Stream Rotary and NOW Foods for your donations and volunteer support!

Disabled Students Volunteer
Since we are a transition program for students with multiple disabilities, we try to provide opportunities to volunteer in the community. SCARCE let our students come once a week and use their classroom as a volunteer site. They peel and sharpen crayons. The students enjoyed this and SCARCE gave them meaningful volunteer site within the community.
