The following provides the detailed list of what is accepted and what is not accepted at most recycling extravaganzas and elecronics recycling events.

Acceptable Items
Almost anything with a plug or battery can be recycled.

• Computer Monitors (Flat or CRT)
• Televisions (Flat or CRT)
• Computers (Desktop, Laptop)
• Keyboards and Mice
• Printers / Scanners / Fax Machines
• Copy Machines
• Stereos / Radios
• DVD / CD / Cassette Tape players
• Cell Phones, pagers
• Gaming Consoles / Handheld Games
• Extension Cords / Christmas Lights
• Routers/Modems/Switching Boxes
• CDs / DVDs / Floppy Disks / Games / VHS Tapes
• Hard Drives / Other Memory Devices
• Small Household Appliances
• Microwaves
• Cameras
• Rechargeable Batteries
• Circuit Boards or Electronic Equipment
• Medical Devices
• Carbon Monoxide Detectors

NOT Acceptable
Items with liquids or hazardous materials
• Smoke Detectors
• Large Appliances (white goods - refrigerator, stove)
• Thermometers / Thermostats / Mercury Devices
• Fire Extinguishers
• Car Batteries
• Items with Gas Engines
• Light Bulbs ( Fluorescent, incandescent)
• Air Conditioners
• Glass Carafes or dishes
• Wood Speakers
