Books Are a Hit with My Students!

Just wanted to tell you that the treasures (specifically nonfiction books) that I found on Saturday at Scarce have been the biggest hit with my students! On Monday they spent 45 minutes engaged in reading through them, sharing them, and loving them. Then the past three days we have been reading about immigration, Ellis Island, volcanoes, rocks, matter, the Great San Francisco Earthquake (which has led into wanting to know about the Great Chicago Fire). They have learned so much in the past 4 days because the books had such magnificent pictures and text at their level. I am so excited!

THANK YOU. And THANK YOU to Scarce!
